Belief Statement
My philosophy as a nursing student is to be able to one day utilize my education in the nursing profession into evidence-based practice. The type of nurse I wish to be is one that provides holistic care by being compassionate, patient-centered, and respecting each individual’s needs and values. These are all beliefs that I not only wish to one day demonstrate as a nurse but also to use them to grow in my education into the profession. Nursing is important to me because I wish to one day be the difference to someone that helps them as much as I can even if they are going through the unimaginable.
