Amanda Edna Kirmse was a granddaughter of Julius and Barbara (Kraus) Kirmse.
When Amanda Edna Kirmse was born on November 1, 1911, in Longtown, Missouri, her father, August, was 41, and her mother, Amelie, was 31. She married Harry Henry Mehner on September 15, 1940, in Crosstown, Missouri. They had two children during their marriage. She died on September 17, 1999, in Perryville, Missouri, at the age of 87, and was buried in Crosstown, Missouri.
