Artifacts

Artifacts - A Photo of My Mom This photo of my mom is one of the most meaningful artifacts in my nursing journey. She’s been a nurse for many years, and watching her care for others has always inspired me. Growing up, I witnessed her dedication to her patients, which inspired me to follow in her footsteps. She’s the reason I wanted to be a nurse in the first place, and this photo reminds me of where my love for nursing began. - A Nursing Scrub This nursing scrub is the first step I took into the realm of healthcare. It’s the uniform I wear when I’m in clinicals, practicing skills, and learning how to care for real patients. Every time I put it on, it reminds me that I’m a part of something bigger—that I’m working to become a nurse who can help others. The scrub demonstrates how far I’ve come, from daydreaming about becoming a nurse to actually training to be one . - My acceptance letter to Trent University My acceptance letter to Trent University is a symbol of the moment my dream started to become real. I worked hard to get into the nursing program, and this letter proves that all of my efforts paid off. It reminds me of how thrilled I was when I opened it and knew I was one step closer to my goal. This letter encourages me to keep going through the difficulties of nursing school because it is where my journey officially began.
