Participating in undergraduate research has given me the chance to work with some amazing people and has been one of the most fulfilling activities I have done in university. I gained valuable experience and confidence in creating and giving presentations. I have had the opportunity to discuss my research as well as to learn from graduate students and other sleep researchers. These experiences have given me useful insight into the research process that have opened my mind to considering continuing research, looking into more lab work, or looking into sleep research or medicine-related fields.
