Cardiovascular System: Cardiac Output

Cardiovascular System: Cardiac Output Overview Cardiac output is the amount of blood pumped by the left ventricle per minute. Factors such as heart rate and stroke volume (influenced by the autonomic nervous system), fitness levels, and pressures on the heart, affect cardiac output.
