Some key things to focus on as an athlete is scheduling, sleeping, eating, and education Balancing athletics in college is a tough task and if it was meant to be easy then everyone would be doing it. One of the most important things about being a collegiate athlete is to get on a schedule. From waking up at a consistent time and eating at a consistent time. Another reason scheduling is so important is because you know when you have little holes to do homework. Remember you’re a student-athlete not an athlete-student I’m going to be honest it’ll get stressful, but going to sleep on time will help reduce that. You’re an athlete so you have to remember eat. I know that may sound strange but there will be times after where you just want to sleep. School so comes first so make sure your grades right or you want be eligible.
