In addition to IBISWorld, UNB Libraries subscribes to additional databases that contain industry information. Keep in mind that these databases cover different industries and present their information in different ways. If you are unsure which database is right for you, get in contact with the Business Librarian and they would be happy to help you get started.
This module will introduce you to three additional industry research databases available through UNB Libraries: BCC Research, Frost & Sullivan, and Forrester Research. However, the library provides you with access to many other sources of industry information which you can learn more about in the Industry Reports section of the Company & Industry Information Guide.
BCC Research
BCC Research produces comprehensive market research reports to assist with market sizing, forecasting, and industry intelligence. BCC Research reports cover global markets but each report will provide a breakdown by region which will include information specific to Canada or North America. They cover topic areas such as Food & Beverage, Healthcare, Nanotechnology, and Biotechnology. Examples of report titles include:
- Smart Displays
- Automated Guide Vehicles
- Blockchain
- Corporate Wellness
- Dairy Alternatives
BCC Research reports are very thorough, often exceeding 100 pages, and they cover multiple aspects of the industry including regulatory aspects, industry structure, and competitor profiles.

Frost & Sullivan
Frost & Sullivan provides access to industry reports looking at disruptive and emerging technologies covering global markets. Their reports can include information on key industry trends, major competitors and promising startups, revenue forecasts, and more. They cover topic areas such as Enterprise Communications, Medical Devices, Energy & Power, and Electric Vehicles. Examples of report titles include:
