I have a sample code : <input type="text" name="color" id="color" value="" /> And jquery $('#color').change(function(){ $('#color').addAttr('value', 'test'); }); When I change value in textbox is result value="" and error in firebug $("#color").addAttr is not a function How to fix it ?
