In the Doctrine docs they mention that there exists a few different strategies for the @GeneratedValue annotation:

  • AUTO
  • SEQUENCE
  • TABLE
  • IDENTITY
  • UUID
  • CUSTOM
  • NONE

Would someone please explain the differences between all thees strategies?
