I haven't found a simple answer for these two questions: do I have to remove a listener before deleting the property instance (the listener is not used anywhere else)? BooleanProperty bool = new SimpleBooleanProperty(); bool.addListener(myListener); bool.removeListener(myListener); // is it necessary to do this? bool = null; do I have to unbind a uni-directional bounded property before deleting the property instance? BooleanProperty bool = new SimpleBooleanProperty(); bool.bind(otherBool); bool.unbind(); // is it necessary to do this? bool = null;
