I have an excel worksheet with data that looks like: Type X Y B 1.2 5.6 B 4.5 2.5 B 2.3 0.9 A 1.2 -9.3 B 2.2 -2.3 C 3.5 6.7 Although there are a lot more rows of course. I am trying to make an XY scatter plot for the X and Y data points, however, I would like the plots to be colored according to the 'Type' column. Does anyone know how I can do this? I can create a new data series manually, but that's not possible with the number of rows I have, plus the 'type' values aren't necessarily in order. Thanks!
