I'm using a EC2 server instance. Used the following to install Jenkins: wget -q -O - http://pkg.jenkins-ci.org/debian/jenkins-ci.org.key | sudo apt-key add - sudo sh -c 'echo deb http://pkg.jenkins-ci.org/debian binary/ > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/jenkins.list' sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install jenkins but I need to install software on the Jenkins server so in my EC2 instance I did sudo –s –H –u jenkins to get into the jenkins server. Then I tried to do sudo cabal install quickcheck but it prompted me for jenkins password. I've been searching around the internet for 4hrs now and nothing is helping me get administrative privilege in the jenkins server.
