I'm a little confused about how to determine which phones support what layout types. I've done some research but haven't found a satisfying answer. For example, I've found the below guide: xlarge screens are at least 960dp x 720dp large screens are at least 640dp x 480dp normal screens are at least 470dp x 320dp small screens are at least 426dp x 320dp However, I still have some concerns: Samsung grand (480*800) and HTC wild fire S (320*480) both support MDPI. These screens have very different resolutions, yet have the same layout type? Galaxy note 2 (1280*720) support HDPI. If HD (720p) is only HDPI, when what device/resolution supports XHDPI? My most important question, however, is this: How do I know which devices or screen resolutions support each layout type?
