I am trying to add some additional html to a div with id slideshow using jQuery. My code: $("#slideshow").append("<a id="prev" title="Previous Slide">Previous Slide</a><a id="next" title="Next Slide">Next Slide</a>"); This isn't working, can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
