I am sent an XML string that I'm trying to parse via an XmlReader and I'm trying to strip out the \" characters.

I've tried 

.Replace(@"\", "")
.Replace("\\''", "''")
.Replace("\\''", "\"")

plus several other ways.

Any ideas?
