Draw a flower shape onto a sheet of colored paper.
Apply some white school glue to your first petal.
Coil your desired color of yarn into the glue.
Glue the yarn to the rest of the flower using the same technique.
Add a stem and leaves, if desired.
Allow the glue to dry.
Draw a flower outline on a sheet of white cardstock.
Use a needle to punch holes on the line that you drew.
Thread a large needle with yarn, and tie a knot at the end.
Turn the paper over, then begin to sew the flower from the back.
Cross the needle down through the opposite hole.
Continue sewing back and forth across the flower until you fill all the holes.
Knot and tape down the end of the thread on the back of the paper.
Glue a pompom or a large, plastic button to the center of the flower.
Glue the flower to a larger, colored sheet of paper, if desired.
Draw a simple, 5-petal flower on a wooden board with a pencil.
Hammer nails halfway into the board, right over the lines that you draw.
Tie a piece of colored yarn to one of the nails on the outside of the flower.
Cross the yarn over to a nail on the opposite side of the flower.
Weave the yarn around the nails to create the outline.
Knot and cut the yarn.
Do the center and leaves, if you added them.
