Combine the base with an equal amount of the additives.
Adjust the soil pH as needed to make it slightly acidic.
Measure the diameter of the plant to determine what pot size to use.
Select a clean clay or plastic pot that drains well.
Make a hole in the center of the soil for the plant.
Add lukewarm water to the soil until it is moist.
